A large hand-carved wooden sculpture depicting an eagle with wings outstretched, perched upon a craggy rock-form base. The figure is executed in a rustic, faceted style with prominent chisel marks defining the feathers, talons, and head. The wood is finished in a multi-toned brown stain, highlighting the textured surface. The wings are separate components attached to the central body. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
