Description
A group of British commemorative coins and medals primarily dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The collection includes several 1977 Silver Jubilee crowns featuring the equestrian portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a 1965 Sir Winston Churchill commemorative crown, and a 1972 Silver Wedding crown for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Also present are commemorative medals including a 1986 Royal Wedding medal for the marriage of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, an 85th birthday commemorative medal for Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and a 1977 Silver Jubilee souvenir medal. Each piece is housed in a square, clear plastic protective case with decorative coloured card inserts in blue, red, purple, and black. The metallic items feature various high-relief portraits and commemorative inscriptions.
Condition report:
The coins and medals appear to be in good condition with no significant tarnish or wear visible through the packaging. The clear plastic protective cases exhibit light surface scuffing, dust, and minor age-related wear to the card inserts.
