Description
A Clarice Cliff ceramic posy ring produced by Newport Pottery Co. in England. The piece is of circular torus form featuring a fluted and scalloped rim. The glazed pottery is finished in a light cream base colour with mottled pale green highlights throughout the exterior. The underside is supported by three unglazed foot pads. The base displays the Clarice Cliff facsimile signature stamp, alongside the printed marks NEWPORT POTTERY CO ENGLAND and REGD. NO. 840.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and small areas of typical discoloration consistent with age and use.
