A collection of British philatelic items and related ephemera, primarily dating from the late 20th to early 21st century. The group includes Royal Mail first day covers featuring themes such as Christmas 2006, Food and Farming (1989), Birds, and A Celebration of Anniversaries. Commemorative items include sets and presentation packs for the 1969 Investiture of the Prince of Wales (Arwisgiad Tywysog Cymru), the 1981 Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, and the London 1980 International Stamp Exhibition. The collection also features mint stamp sets, commemorative booklets such as The Bicentennial of American Independence 1776-1976, and other thematic issues. The items are housed in a maroon ring-binder album and individual plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
