Description
A collection of late 19th and early 20th-century pharmaceutical and household containers. The group comprises several amber glass bottles and one glazed stoneware bottle. Notable examples include a glass bottle embossed with ALL BRITISH LYSOL and a wide-mouthed amber glass jar embossed with Virol. The glass containers exhibit various decorative treatments including embossed diamond lattice and stippled patterns. The stoneware bottle features a deep brown glaze and a cylindrical form with a narrow neck.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good condition, consistent with age and utility. Visible wear includes surface abrasions, scratches, and internal residue. The stoneware bottle displays minor chipping to the base.
