Description
A 19th-century Hamilton-style torpedo bottle for Hardys Crown Brewery Limited, Manchester. The vessel is mould-blown in light aqua glass and features the characteristic pointed base and a thickened blob top finish at the neck. The side of the bottle displays prominent embossed lettering reading HARDYS CROWN BREWERY LIMITED MANCHESTER. The glass construction shows typical period manufacturing traits, including internal seed bubbles and flow lines.
Condition report:
The bottle is in good condition with light surface wear and minor abrasions consistent with age and use. Some internal residue is present. No significant chips or cracks are visible.
