Description
A pair of British-made Halcyon Mark 49 goggles designed for motorcycling, aviation, and motoring. The goggles feature polished brass frames stamped MADE IN ENGLAND with clear split lenses. The face mask is constructed from hand-stitched dark brown leather, attached to an adjustable brown elasticated head strap. The lot includes the original blue and white cardboard retail box featuring the Halcyon winged H logo and Union Jack, manufactured by Halcyon Design and Manufacturing Ltd. An original promotional insert is also present within the packaging.
Condition report:
The goggles appear to be in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. The brass frames retain a high polish and the leather remains supple. The original box shows minor shelf wear and light creasing consistent with storage.
