Description
A collection of Royal Mail Star Wars themed postal memorabilia and philatelic items. The collection includes multiple first-class stamps depicting characters and vehicles including Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Yoda, The Emperor, Kylo Ren, a Stormtrooper, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and an X-wing Starfighter. The items are mounted on individual cards within a ring binder, with some cards featuring handwritten notations regarding issue dates and formats. Included is a Darth Maul concept illustration from the Royal Mail Stamp Development Archive, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity dated 17 December 2015. The certificate is signed by illustrator Malcolm Tween and Fraser Chisholm of Royal Mail, confirming the illustration was created during the design process for the Star Wars Special Stamp issue.
Condition report:
The collection is in good, well-preserved condition. The stamps and illustration are housed within protective plastic sleeves. There are minor handwritten notations on the mounting cards.
