Description
A wood marquetry panel from the Spindler workshop, depicting a scenic architectural view of Saint-Ursanne. The composition features a prominent arched gateway and a building with a distinctive tiered tower, executed using various inlaid wood veneers to achieve a range of colours and textures. The work is signed Spindler in the lower right corner. The reverse of the panel includes an identification label reading SPINDLER PANEL / Ste. Ursanne. / (101) and a smaller secondary label with instructional text. The artwork is housed in a wood-finished frame under glass.

Condition report:
The marquetry panel remains in good overall condition. The frame exhibits minor surface wear and small scuffs consistent with age. The paper backing on the reverse shows significant tearing, losses, and age-related discolouration.
