Description
A trio of hand-painted figurines from The Leonardo Collection and similar, depicting pastoral and rustic themes. The collection is constructed from cast resin or cold-cast porcelain. The first figure, titled Vineyard, depicts a female grape picker in a pink bodice and lilac skirt, carrying a large woven basket of fruit. The second figure depicts a woman in a cream-coloured dress and sunhat accompanied by a white goose. The third figure depicts a male grape picker in an orange vest and blue trousers with two white geese at his feet. Each figure is mounted on a tiered, polished wooden base. The Vineyard figure features a brass-coloured identification plaque on the base and additional incised script on the integral resin base. The remaining two figures are unmarked but are executed in a style consistent with The Leonardo Collection.
Condition report:
The figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. The wooden bases show minor surface shelf wear consistent with age.
