Description
A Victorian Stourbridge glass Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase, The hand-blown cased glass vessel features an emerald green exterior over a pale mint-white opalescent interior. The slender, tapering trumpet-form body is decorated with an applied clear glass rigaree with pincered detailing spiralling the exterior. The rim is pulled and ruffled into a flower-like shape. The piece is supported by a clear glass, circular spreading foot. No maker marks or signatures are present.
Height: 26.5 cm.
Condition report:
The vase is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. There is minor shelf wear to the underside of the base consistent with age and use.
