Description
A 2016 Bailiwick of Jersey rectangular fifty pence coin struck in 925 silver. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley with initials IRB present. Inscriptions read ELIZABETH II, FIFTY PENCE, 2016, and BAILIWICK OF JERSEY. The reverse features a Bayeux Tapestry design with inscriptions ISTI MIRANT STELLA and HAROLD. The coin is struck with a proof-like finish featuring frosted devices and mirrored fields. It is housed in a rectangular clear plastic protective capsule with a black textured insert.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin remains in excellent condition with frosted devices and mirrored fields. Minor natural toning is visible along the upper edge of the reverse. The protective capsule exhibits light surface scuffing.
