A pair of The Leonardo Collection figurines, titled “Playing In The Orchard” and “Best Friends,” produced in 1997. These decorative figurine groups are crafted from resin or cold-cast porcelain, each mounted on a polished wooden plinth with a green felt underside. The first piece, “Playing In The Orchard,” depicts a boy pushing a wheelbarrow containing a girl, apples, and toys, accompanied by a small dog. The second piece, “Best Friends,” features a boy and girl seated together, surrounded by toys, with the girl holding a basket of strawberries and the boy cradling a small dog. Both compositions are executed in a sentimental, pastoral style with detailed, hand-painted finishes.
