Lot 124: A Collection of Mixed Silver and Silver-Plate Tableware and Souvenir Spoons

A diverse collection of silver and silver-plate tableware and decorative objects, comprising a large, deeply fluted shell-form serving dish with an ornate scrolled edge, a small rectangular container with embossed decoration on a wire carrying stand, a plain cylindrical beaker, and two smaller handled cups or tankards. Also included is a variety of spoons, encompassing several larger table or serving spoons and numerous smaller souvenir spoons. These souvenir spoons feature an array of decorative finials, incorporating enamel, crests, and detailed imagery, with one clearly marked ‘1977’. The general aesthetic ranges from plainer utility items to more decorative pieces, suggesting a mixed period, with the ‘1977’ marking indicating at least one item from the late 20th century.
