A collection of approximately two dozen vintage or antique hand woodworking chisels. Each chisel features a steel blade and a turned wooden handle, many secured with metal ferrules. The wooden handles display varied natural patinas, with one handle appearing blue-painted, all showing significant wear, discoloration, and surface abrasions. The steel blades are of various widths and profiles, exhibiting considerable surface rust, pitting, and darkened patination, with some faint, largely illegible text visible on a few blades, such as partial “MADE IN” markings. The chisels are presented with a heavily worn, dark brown leather or faux leather roll-up case with a flap closure.
