An Ancient Roman Empire silver denarius, attributed to Emperor Vespasian (69-79 AD), of the ‘IVDAEA Capta’ type. The obverse features a laureated male bust facing right, with partial Latin inscription reading “CAESAR” and “AVG”. The reverse depicts a seated figure in a posture of mourning to the right of a standing element, with the partial Latin inscription “…IVDAEA” visible at the bottom.
