Lot 62: An Ancient Silvered Coin with Eagle Motifs and Greek Inscription 'IEPAΣ'

A single, worn, irregularly-shaped coin or medal, appearing to be made of a silver-colored metal. The obverse depicts an eagle-like bird with outstretched wings, perched on a vertical element, flanked by indistinct symbols, with a clear Greek inscription below reading ‘IEPAΣ’ (Sacred / Of Hiera). The reverse shows a more detailed eagle-like bird facing right, with wings folded. The item exhibits significant surface wear, patination, and minor edge irregularities, consistent with an ancient or early medieval period, likely belonging to Greek or Roman Provincial coinage.
