A group of five World War II British miniature campaign medals, comprising four brass/bronze six-pointed stars and one circular silver-tone medal, suspended from multi-colored fabric ribbons and mounted together on a pin-backed bar. The stars feature the Royal Cypher ‘GRI’ (George Rex Imperator) and are individually inscribed ‘1939-45 STAR’, ‘ATLANTIC STAR’, and ‘THE AFRICA STAR’, with the fourth star bearing a similar design and cypher. The circular medal displays on its obverse a profile bust of King George VI, encircled by the Latin inscription ‘GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP.’ (George VI, by the Grace of God, King of all Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India). Its reverse depicts a classical male figure, with the dates ‘1939-1945’, identifying it as the War Medal 1939-1945. The ribbons exhibit various distinct patterns and colors.
