A Mamod SW1 live-steam model wagon featuring a green engine and flatbed body with a white cab roof and fenders. The vehicle is constructed from metal with red-painted wheels and brass and copper engine components. It features a horizontal boiler, a flywheel, and a drive belt connected to the rear axle. A circular plate on the front of the boiler is printed with the text MAMOD, a central vertical symbol, and SW1. The side of the flatbed bears an adhesive label reading MAMOD STEAM WAGON in gold-coloured lettering. The underside of the metal chassis is struck with the words MAMOD and MADE IN ENGLAND. This lot includes the original cardboard packaging, internal inserts, a steering rod with a wooden handle, and printed paper literature comprising an instruction manual and a promotional leaflet.
