Lot 285: A Musical Mickey Mouse The Sorcerer's Apprentice Snow Globe

A musical snow globe featuring characters from the 1940 film Fantasia. The glass sphere contains a central figure of Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer’s Apprentice role, wearing a blue conical hat decorated with white stars and a red robe, standing upon a rocky outcrop amidst sculpted waves. The base is intricately cast as a flood scene, featuring multiple animated broomsticks carrying buckets of water amongst large, cresting blue waves. The underside of the base is fitted with four rubber feet and a metal wind-up key.
