A Chinese 925 silver salt cellar of octagonal form, standing on three stepped geometric feet. The vessel features eight panels, each decorated in high relief with traditional repoussé botanical motifs including bamboo stalks, prunus blossoms, and chrysanthemums, set against a finely punched ground. The interior retains a yellow metal gilded finish.
