Lot 131: A Cased Set of Teaspoons and a Server

A set of six teaspoons and a larger serving spoon, each featuring a decorative foliate and scroll pattern embossed on the handle terminals. The serving spoon is designed with a shaped, flat-fronted bowl, distinct from the oval bowls of the accompanying teaspoons. The reverse of the handles bears the struck characters E, P, N, S, indicating electroplated nickel silver construction. Additional struck characters precede this mark but are not legible as a name. The set is presented in its original rectangular case, covered in a grey and white textured paper with a woven appearance.
