Lot 122: A Sheffield English Pewter Quaich with Celtic Knotwork
A traditional English pewter quaich, featuring a shallow circular bowl and two flat horizontal handles. The handles are decorated with a relief pattern of Celtic knotwork against a stippled ground. The bowl has a simple stepped rim and a bright polished interior. The base is struck with a circular arrangement of impressed marks reading MADE ENGLISH PEWTER IN ENGLAND SHEFFIELD.
