A ceramic two-handled loving cup of cylindrical form, featuring a flared pedestal base and scroll handles. The vessel is decorated with a transfer-printed pastoral vignette depicting a shepherdess and a youth resting in a meadow alongside three lambs, set against a background of trees and a fence. The scene is framed by a yellow and ochre lustre ground, while the handles and base are finished in a copper-toned lustre.
