An Isle of Man 1984 one troy ounce platinum bullion coin. The obverse features the young head portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing a tiara. Legible struck inscriptions around the perimeter read ISLE OF MAN, 1984, and ELIZABETH II. The reverse depicts a Viking longship under full sail with a dragon-head prow, surrounded by four gulls and a Celtic knotwork border. Struck inscriptions on the reverse read 1 OZ PLATINUM FINE and ONE NOBLE. The coin exhibits a proof-like finish with frosted design elements and reflective fields. It is currently housed in a flexible plastic protective sleeve. No mint marks are visible on the surfaces.
