A 2020 legal tender coin issued by Niue, struck in fine silver. The obverse features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, with the engraver’s initials IRB located below the truncation of the neck. The legend around the perimeter reads ELIZABETH II, NIUE, TWO DOLLARS, and the date 2020. The reverse depicts the Star Wars character Boba Fett in a low-relief, stylised design, standing before a circular background containing a Mandalorian crest. A textured radial border surrounds the central image. Above the character’s shoulder are four stars and the initials NZM. The upper edge is struck with the inscription 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER and the copyright notice © & TM LUCASFILM LTD.
Condition report:
The coin appears in brilliant uncirculated condition with proof-like fields and no visible signs of circulation wear. The obverse shows clear, sharp detail on the portrait and lettering. The reverse exhibits uniform struck surfaces with no evidence of contact marks, tarnish, or environmental spotting. The item is housed within a clear circular plastic protective capsule.
