Lot 366: A Tales of Old .999 Fine Copper One Ounce Bullion Round

A contemporary one ounce copper bullion round from the Tales of Old series. The obverse features a high-relief design titled A COIN FOR THE FERRYMAN, depicting a hooded skull, three smaller skulls, and Charon rowing a boat across water. A small circular mint mark containing an hourglass symbol is struck at the bottom centre. The reverse features the central text TALES OF OLD, flanked by a flaming torch and an hourglass. Below the text is an open book positioned above a nautical compass rose, all enclosed by a decorative foliate border. The bottom edge is incised with the legend 1 OZ AVDP .999 FINE COPPER.
