The obverse features a high-relief montage of global landmarks including the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum, Christ the Redeemer, the Taj Mahal, and a Mayan pyramid. The lower portion of the obverse is struck with the legends 5 AVDP OUNCES, .999 COPPER, and TBL MINT above a stylized wave border. The reverse displays a selective colour finish featuring the Australian national flag above a copper-toned Sydney harbour skyline, depicting the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Sydney Tower Eye.
