Lot 308: A Large Hand Painted Wooden Lambretta Sales Advertising Sign

A large vertical advertising sign, constructed from a single long wooden plank with a cream-coloured painted ground. The sign features hand-painted lettering in a vertical orientation. The word LAMBRETTA is rendered in dark red serif capitals, positioned above the word SALES which is painted in olive green serif capitals. The construction shows a simple rectangular form with squared edges and a flat surface. The finish displays intentional distressing and uneven paint application to suggest age.
