Lot 289: A Collection of The Beatles 7-inch Vinyl Singles, UK Pressings

A collection of four UK-pressing 7-inch vinyl singles by The Beatles on the Parlophone and Apple labels. The lot includes the 1965 single DAY TRIPPER / WE CAN WORK IT OUT on the Parlophone label, catalogue number R 5389, featuring a black and silver label with a four-prong push-out centre and the text MADE IN GT. BRITAIN. The 1967 single HELLO, GOODBYE / I AM THE WALRUS is also on Parlophone, catalogue number R 5655, with similar black and silver labelling and a four-prong centre. The collection features two Apple Records releases: the 1968 single HEY JUDE / REVOLUTION, catalogue number R 5722, and the 1969 single GET BACK / DON’T LET ME DOWN, catalogue number R 5777. Both Apple singles display the full green apple label design with MFD. IN U.K. printed on the left side. The GET BACK single includes a credit for Billy Preston. Each disc is housed in a generic white paper sleeve with handwritten titles and dates in ballpoint pen. All four records retain their original four-prong push-out centres.
