Lot 265: A Zippo Windproof Lighter With Eagle And Flag Graphic, In Presentation Case
A Zippo windproof lighter featuring a brushed finish and a rectangular graphic on the front face. The graphic depicts a bald eagle’s head superimposed over a stylised American flag with red and white horizontal stripes and a blue field with white stars. The vertical text USA appears in blue alongside the flag. The lighter is presented in a black plastic stand with gold-tone lettering reading ZIPPO LIGHTER U.S.A. on one side and LIFETIME GUARANTEE on the other. An adhesive label on the side of the stand base is printed with 573 USA EAGLE ON FLAG. The outer black plastic sleeve features a textured finish and a printed gold-tone ZIPPO U.S.A. LIGHTER logo. A paper label on the end of the sleeve reads 250 WELSH FLAG. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the metal body of the lighter in its current orientation.
Condition report:
The lighter appears to be in unused condition with no visible soot or strike marks. The metal casing shows minimal surface wear. The black plastic presentation stand is intact. The outer sleeve shows signs of shelf wear and handling, including adhesive residue and small surface scuffs on the textured exterior. Both the inner and outer labels are present, though they show age-related yellowing. The item is supplied with its original plastic presentation stand and outer sleeve.
