Lot 132: Three Packs of Stanley Bostitch BT1340B-1M Brad Nails
Sold for: £3
This lot comprises three packs of 18-gauge brad nails, designed for use with pneumatic nailers. Each pack is contained within a rectangular plastic blister case with a cardboard insert. The insert cards are printed in yellow and green, featuring the brand name STANLEY BOSTITCH in large yellow capital letters. The top right corner of each card is printed with the model number BT1340B-1M. The central green panel displays a nail profile, the type BT, and the specification 40 mm x 1000. The lower section of each card lists compatible tool models: SB1842BN, SB1850BN, SB2IN1, and BT200. A circular logo at the bottom reads UTILISE ORIGINAL BOSTITCH FASTENERS. The nails are presented in collated strips and exhibit a gold-tone finish.
Condition report:
The items appear to be unused. The external plastic blister packaging shows significant environmental age, including heavy yellowing and brittle edges (photo 1). Surface oxidation and rust staining are visible on the cardboard backing and around the top hanging holes of the plastic cases (photo 1). The nails themselves appear straight in their strips, though the presence of external oxidation suggests the potential for minor surface corrosion. All three packs remain closed.
