Lot 90: Australia 2001 and 2002 Perth Mint Silver 1oz Kookaburra Two-Coin Set

This lot comprises two Australian silver bullion coins issued by the Perth Mint, each housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and presented in a green hinged case with a fitted interior. The coins belong to the Australian Kookaburra series. The 2001 issue features a reverse design of two kookaburras perched on a branch, inscribed THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA 1 OZ. 999 SILVER 2001. The 2002 issue features a reverse design of a kookaburra in flight over the Australian continent, inscribed AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA 2002 and 1 OZ. 999 SILVER. The interior lid of the presentation case features a circular silver-tone logo depicting a swan, inscribed THE PERTH MINT and EST. 1899. No other maker’s marks or labels are visible on the coins or packaging.
