Lot 76: UK 2018 Paddington At The Palace 50p Brilliant Uncirculated Coin

A UK 2018 commemorative 50 pence coin, struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated standard. The reverse features the character Paddington Bear standing before a building, holding his hat. The heptagonal coin is presented within its original printed card folder, which is further enclosed in a transparent plastic sleeve. The packaging features a yellow background with a map design and a photographic image of Paddington Bear in a blue duffel coat. The folder bears the printed legends THE ROYAL MINT, PADDINGTON AT THE PALACE 2018 50P BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN, OFFICIAL UK COIN!, and the slogan TREASURE FOR LIFE. The Royal Mint crest is printed in the upper left corner of the white plastic header. The obverse of the coin, though partially obscured by the packaging, features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
