Lot 27: UK 1935 George V Silver and Bronze Coin Set

This lot comprises a collection of UK coins from the reign of George V, mounted in a red card display within a dark wood frame featuring a gold-tone inner border. The set includes a 1935 Crown featuring a stylised St. George and the Dragon design; a 1933 Half Crown; a 1935 Florin with a cruciform shield design; a 1935 Shilling depicting a lion atop a crown; a 1935 Sixpence; and a 1935 silver Threepence. The bronze denominations consist of a 1935 Penny, a 1935 Halfpenny, and a Farthing. The coins are presented with their reverses showing. The display card is inscribed with the following legends: GT. BRITAIN, THE COINAGE OF GEORGE V, HALF CROWN, FLORIN, SHILLING, SIXPENCE, THREEPENCE, PENNY, HALFPENNY, and FARTHING.
