A TBL Mint Mythology Series fine copper 5 AVDP ounce round featuring a Medusa design. The obverse displays a high-relief, colourised image of Medusa with green serpentine hair and a glowing green serpent held in her right hand, set against a background of a Greek temple and a cavernous mountain landscape. The name MEDUSA is struck into a rectangular nameplate at the upper centre. The reverse features a polished finish with frosted relief, centred by a laurel wreath encircling a Parthenon-style temple. Mythological figures including Pegasus, Zeus with a lightning bolt, a Spartan hoplite, and Poseidon’s trident surround the central motif. The reverse is struck with the legends TBL MINT, MYTHOLOGY SERIES, 5 AVDP OUNCES, and FINE COPPER. The item is housed in a square plastic protective capsule.
