Lot 144: Wessex Mint .999 Fine Gold Springbok 1/1000th oz Bar

A Wessex Mint gold bullion bar of rectangular form, presented in a black assay card and matching sleeve. The obverse of the bar is struck with the legend SPRINGBOK above an image of a leaping springbok. To the right is a circular logo containing the letters P and M, followed by the text WESSEX MINT, 1/1000TH OZ, FINE GOLD, and the fineness 999/1000. The accompanying black card features the Wessex Mint name and logo in silver-tone print. The right side of the card contains a green band with the South African national flag, the legend SPRINGBOK, and the weight and purity stated as 1/1000OZ FINE GOLD. The reverse of the card is not visible.
