The round features a reeded edge and a proof-like reflective surface. No maker’s name is legibly struck on the item.
Condition report:
The obverse displays a bright copper luster with minor contact marks and fine surface scratches consistent with handling. The reverse shows similar surface characteristics, with a notable area of dark toning and environmental discoloration located near the front legs of the buffalo and extending into the lower field. The round is not contained within a protective capsule or original packaging.
