A collection of four plush character soft toys comprising Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Alex the Lion, and a Scottish-themed teddy bear. The Winnie the Pooh figure is depicted in a red shirt with yellow embroidered text reading WINNIE THE POOH. The Piglet figure is dressed in a pink striped outfit and bears a multi-coloured cardboard hang tag featuring a red character logo and text reading JEMINI POUR LA VIE, JEMINI S.A., 72800 LE LUDE, FRANCE, and MADE IN CHINA. The barcode number 3 298060 206112 is printed on the reverse. The Alex the Lion figure, from the Madagascar film series, is constructed from tan and light brown plush material with plastic eyes and embroidered facial features. The medium-sized teddy bear is dressed in a black velvet-effect jacket with lace trim and a red tartan kilt with a matching tam o’ shanter hat featuring a white pom-pom. An attached paper tag is printed with PAWS FOR THOUGHT and © 1995 THE BRITANNIA GIFT COMPANY. A printed CE mark is visible on the tags of the Winnie the Pooh and Piglet figures.
Condition report:
The items are in good, clean condition. The Piglet figure shows minor pilling to the pink fabric of the torso. The Alex the Lion figure has a plastic tag fastener remaining in the mane, though the original tag is no longer present. The Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and collector bear all retain their original cardboard hang tags. There are no visible tears or significant losses to the plush materials.
