Sold for: £20
A portable wood burning stove featuring a rectangular body constructed from welded metal with a painted finish. The unit is fitted with two front-facing hinged doors; the upper door incorporates a circular rotary air vent, while the lower door provides access to an ash compartment. The interior is lined with rectangular firebricks and features a slotted metal grate. The stove is supported by four angled feet. Accompanying the stove is a group of flue components, including two corrugated elbow joints and multiple lengths of cylindrical metal pipe. A circular aperture at the rear of the stove body accommodates the flue connection. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The stove shows signs of use with soot and heat-related discoloration visible to the interior surfaces, firebricks, and grate. The exterior painted finish exhibits minor surface scuffs and areas of paint loss, particularly around the welded seams and edges. The straight flue pipes show significant surface oxidation and rust across their exterior surfaces. The corrugated elbow joints remain largely bright with minor spots of surface corrosion.
