A two-piece lot of Liverpool Football Club memorabilia comprising a long-sleeved training sweatshirt and a fleece throw blanket. The sweatshirt is constructed from a red synthetic fabric with black and gold-trimmed curved piping details across the chest and sleeves. The upper right chest features a white embroidered logo consisting of three diagonal bars with the text ADIDAS underneath. The upper left chest bears the LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB crest, including the motto YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE and EST 1892. The centre of the garment is printed with a white CARLSBERG logo. The sleeves feature three black stripes running from the shoulder to the cuff. The red fleece blanket is decorated with a large club crest and includes the text WALK ALONE on a green banner and the words POOL and CLUB in large white block lettering. No further maker’s marks or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The sweatshirt shows signs of wear, most notably heavy cracking and partial loss to the white heat-pressed Carlsberg sponsor logo on the chest. There is minor surface pilling to the red fabric and a few small dark spots visible on the upper chest. The fleece blanket exhibits general surface matting and texture typical of used fleece material. Both items show signs of handling and previous use.
