A 1997 United Kingdom commemorative £2 coin, presented in its original Royal Mint fold-out card packaging. The bimetallic coin consists of a cupro-nickel inner disc and a nickel-brass outer ring. The reverse design features a series of concentric circles representing technological advancement, with imagery of gears and circuitry. The reverse is struck with the denomination TWO POUNDS and the date 1997. The obverse depicts the third definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf, inscribed ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REG FID DEF.
