A contemporary gold bar produced by the Wessex Mint, presented within its original protective assay card and black slipcase. The obverse of the bar features a struck depiction of Saint George and the Dragon. Centred on the obverse are the intertwined letters P and M within a circular border, above the printed text WESSEX MINT, 1/1000TH OZ, FINE GOLD, and 999/1000. Four small symbols representing the nations of the United Kingdom—a shamrock, thistle, leek, and Tudor rose—are struck at the lower left. The assay card is printed with a purple vertical band featuring a Union Jack flag and the legend GEORGE AND THE DRAGON 1/1000OZ FINE GOLD. Both the card and the outer slipcase bear the WESSEX MINT logo and name printed in white.

Condition report:
The gold bar is in brilliant uncirculated condition and remains sealed within its original plastic laminate. The obverse and reverse surfaces are free from visible toning, milk spots, or contact marks. The printed assay card and black slipcase show no significant wear or handling marks.
