A UK brilliant uncirculated definitive coin set issued by The Royal Mint. The collection comprises eight coins: a 1 Penny, 2 Pence, 5 Pence, 10 Pence, 20 Pence, 50 Pence, 1 Pound, and 2 Pounds. The obverse of each coin features the uncrowned left-facing portrait of King Charles III, with the legend CHARLES III D G REX F D followed by the 2023 date. The reverse designs reflect the natural world and the four nations of the United Kingdom: the 1p depicts a hazel dormouse; the 2p a red squirrel; the 5p oak tree leaves and acorns; the 10p a capercaillie; the 20p a puffin; the 50p an Atlantic salmon; the £1 two bees; and the £2 a floral emblem incorporating a rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock. Each reverse includes a repeating interlocking C pattern. The set is housed in a folding card presentation pack printed with the text KING CHARLES III DEFINITIVES, 2023 UK BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN SET, and THE ROYAL MINT THE ORIGINAL MAKER.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition with full original luster. The obverse and reverse surfaces show no visible signs of circulation or handling. The original card packaging is intact with no visible tears or significant creasing.
