Lot 204: A 2013 ABAC Red Line Air Compressor and Pneumatic Coil Nailer

This lot comprises a portable electric air compressor and a pneumatic coil nailer. The ABAC compressor features a red cylindrical air tank and a black plastic motor housing with a moulded carry handle. It is equipped with a pressure switch, two pressure gauges, a red regulator dial, and a PCL air hose connection. The tank bears a printed logo reading ABAC RED LINE, along with a manufacturer’s adhesive label reading ABAC AIR COMPRESSORS, MOD. OM195/6 CM1.5 REDLINE CE, LOT. 352511 0189, COD. A6BB304HRE, MADE IN P.R.C., and the year 2013. A yellow adhesive label indicates a noise level of LWA 97 DB. The pneumatic nailer is constructed with a metal body featuring a textured grey finish and a red trigger, fitted with a black plastic magazine for coil nails. An adhesive sticker on the nailer body reads CAUTION, followed by safety instructions. The tools are connected by a blue coiled plastic air hose. No further maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the nailer.
Condition report:
The compressor shows signs of heavy industrial use, with surface dust, dirt, and scuffing to the plastic casing and tank. The glass cover on the smaller pressure gauge is cracked (photo 2). The pneumatic nailer exhibits extensive finish wear and surface oxidation across the metal body. The nose piece is secured with aged, translucent tape (photo 1). The plastic magazine has a white adhesive residue from a removed label. The power lead is fitted with a standard UK 3-pin plug. Both items are sold as untested.
