This lot comprises an assortment of antique and vintage pocket watch movements and dials contained within a cardboard King Edward Imperial cigar box. The movements are primarily constructed from nickel and white metal, featuring damascened and polished plates. The collection includes a high-grade movement featuring decorative wave-pattern damascening, struck with ADJUSTED, 21 JEWELS, and serial number 153340. Another nickel movement is struck with SWISS MADE, 15 JEWELS, and 3 ADJUSTMENTS. A further movement is struck with 7 JEWELS, SWISS MADE, NON MAGNETIC, and ADJUSTED.

The lot includes several white enamel dials with varied numerals and retail signatures. Notable inscriptions on the dials include ELGIN, RECORD DREADNOUGHT, CYMA, and LIMIT. Regional retail signatures are visible, including G.W. WATCHER EDMONTON, ALTA. and R. M. DOWELL & CO. LTD. 14 HIGH STREET BELFAST. Several dials feature Roman numerals and the mark STAYTE. The collection is accompanied by loose glass crystals and a length of white metal watch chain. The storage box is a cardboard King Edward Imperial cigar box featuring a lithographed portrait of King Edward VII and the printed text A SWISHER PRODUCT.

Condition report:

The items are in spares-or-repair condition. The movements are largely uncased and lack winding stems and crowns. Surface oxidation and dust are visible on several movement plates (photo 4). Multiple enamel dials exhibit hairline cracks and crazing, most notably the G.W. Watcher and Limit examples (photo 2). Several dial feet appear bent or missing. The cardboard cigar box shows significant edge wear, toning, and surface abrasions to the lithographed lid (photo 1). The movements are untested and should be assumed non-functional.
