This lot comprises a chimney mounting system manufactured by Blake UK. The assembly consists of two galvanized metal lashing brackets, a red painted ratchet mechanism, and a combination of black webbing and PET strapping. The galvanized metal components feature integrated ratchet tensioners and pre-drilled mounting holes for fixing to masonry. The packaging is a cardboard box with printed text reading THE ULTIMATE QUICK FIT CHIMNEY BRACKET SYSTEM STACK STRAP, BLAKE UK LIMITED, 177-187 RUTLAND ROAD, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND, S3 9PT. An adhesive label on the packaging includes the text PART NO: SS/DISP100, 100M PET STRAP DISPENSER PACK, and a barcode 5 060041 163782. One metal bracket is stamped with the text U.K. PAT. APP. NO. 0229641.6.
Condition report:
The components show signs of prior installation and use, including surface wear, dirt accumulation, and areas of surface oxidation on the metal surfaces (photo 1). The cardboard packaging is heavily soiled with dark soot-like residue, creased, and torn at the edges (photo 2). The strapping is partially used and the kit appears incomplete relative to the 100m quantity stated on the original packaging.
