Lot 143: Wessex Mint 999 Fine Silver 1 Gram Panda Bar

A 1 gram rectangular silver bullion bar issued by the Wessex Mint. The obverse features a frosted illustration of a giant panda seated and holding a bamboo stalk, with the legend PANDA oriented vertically to the left. Below a horizontal line, the bar bears a circular logo containing the stylised letters PM above a triskele symbol, followed by the text WESSEX MINT. The bottom of the bar is struck with the weight and fineness inscriptions 1 GRAM and 999 FINE SILVER. The reverse of the bar is not visible. The bar is of solid .999 fineness silver construction as indicated by the struck inscription.
