Lot 137: A Set of 12 Glass Tea Light Lanterns
Sold for: £5
This lot comprises 12 glass tea light lanterns, each featuring a bulbous jar-like form with a flared rim. The vessels are constructed from clear glass with a subtle green-blue tint. Each lantern is fitted with a black metal wire bail handle, which is attached to two molded glass loops integrated into the rim of the jar. The jars are of heavy-gauge glass construction and are designed to hold standard tea light or votive candles. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the glass bodies or the metal fittings.
Condition report:
The glass lanterns are in good overall condition. One wire handle is detached from a glass loop at one side. Some minor surface dust and residue are present across the glass surfaces. The black finish on the metal handles appears generally intact. The set is housed in a white protective foam insert.
