A contemporary five-ounce copper bullion round from the Cityscapes series. The obverse features a high-relief depiction of the goddess Athena standing in a Corinthian helmet holding a spear, positioned before a textured representation of the Parthenon. The background is decorated with blue and white enamelled horizontal stripes and a canton cross, corresponding to the national flag of Greece. The reverse displays a contemporary urban skyline silhouette above a textured harbor scene. The left side is struck with the inscription CITYSCAPES in vertical capital letters. The right side bears the struck inscription 5 AVDP OUNCES followed by .999 COPPER. Below these inscriptions is a small circular mint mark featuring a stylised TBL monogram. The round is housed within a clear protective plastic capsule.
Condition report:
The round is in uncirculated condition with no visible signs of wear, oxidation, or handling marks to the copper surfaces. The enamelled portions of the Greek flag on the obverse appear intact with consistent colouration. The protective plastic capsule shows no significant scratching or cracking.
